General Guidelines for Cleaning and Maintaining Ergodyne Products:
To ensure longevity and hygiene for your Ergodyne products, follow these key guidelines
- Personal Use Only: All personal protective equipment should be assigned to a single individual. These items are not intended to be shared.
- Daily Cleaning: To extend the life if your Ergodyne products, clean them daily according to the instructions provided.
General Housekeeping Tips:
- Before and after putting on or removing your Ergodyne products, wash your hands with soap and water or disinfect them using an alcohol-based hand sanitizer for at least 20 seconds.
Cleaning Instructions for Face Masks, Bandanas & Cooling Towels
- Washing Machine: These fabric-based products can be washed in a standard laundry cycle. Use regular detergent and the warmest appropriate water setting, note: This applies only to cloth items-other Ergodyne products must be washed in cold water.
- Drying: Use the highest suitable heat setting in a dryer until the product is completely dry. If a dryer is unavailable, lay the item flat to air dry-- preferably in direct sunlight.
Cleaning Instructions for Safety Glasses, Hard Hats, and Similar Items:
- Hand Washing: Clean with warm, soapy water. Soak the item for five minutes, then rinse thoroughly with cool water.
- Disinfecting (Optional): To disinfect, mix 1/3 cup of household bleach per gallon of water. Soak for five minutes, then rinse thoroughly with cool water.
- Drying: Lay the item flat to air dry, placing it in direct sunlight if possible.
